Everyone I've come in contact with at Summit has been friendly, professional, and helpful. Their communication & notification process let's me know when they'll be coming by, what they'll be doing and what I need to do to prepare. When a crew came by to mulch my gardens, I was introduced to each member! 🙂 I really appreciate their friendly & respectful service. I've recommended Summit to friends.

Summit Lawns is a great company to have come and do your lawn care needs. ... They are great at what they do and so kind. I am so glad I reached out to them for my lawn care needs and yearly lawn services!!

Summit Lawns has saved me time and money, freeing me up to do other things. I no longer have to worry about seasonal feeding and treatments of my grass and soil. Summit Lawns takes care of it all for me. The lawn looks great and I feel better about having my family play on the grass that has been treated for all sorts of bugs etc.

Will You Shovel my Sidewalks and Front Steps?
Yes! Your Season Pass is all inclusive for everything in front of your home. Two crews come to your home each storm: the tractor operator to clear your driveway, and a separate shoveling crew. The shoveling crew clears everything the tractor couldn’t get against the garage door, the city sidewalks, the walkway to the front door, and the front porch.
Will you shovel my back deck/back patio?
Shoveling includes against the garage door where the tractor couldn’t get, the city sidewalks, the pathway to the front door, and the front porch. Our shoveling service does not include anything beyond access points to and from your home to the street. Some homes are so unique with excessive shoveling needs, and unfortunately we are unable to provide service to everyone if a crew spends excessive time at any one home doing extra shoveling in the back.
How close do you get to my garage door?
The tractor gets within 2ft of the garage door, buildings, and vehicles in the driveway. A separate shoveling/sidewalk crew gets the details and gets all the way against the garage door.
What if the city plow comes and leaves a ridge at the end of my driveway after you already cleared it?
Simply let us know and we will be back to clear the ridge at no additional cost!
Will you spread salt/ice melt on my driveway?
No. In the event of ice or freezing rain, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to apply any necessary abrasives or ice melting products
Is it a problem if my car is parked in the driveway?
No, our drivers are trained to work around cars. However, there may be areas that are inaccessible to the tractor that we will not be able to clear. If you know you will have a car in the driveway, be sure to park as close to the garage door and as far to the side as you can so we can clear as much of your driveway as possible. Please note, for the sake of efficiency, timely service, and time of day/night when we arrive (many times we will be there in the middle of the night) our drivers will not get out and knock on your door and wait for you to move your car
When are the driveway markers installed and removed?
Driveway markers are usually installed in late October and the beginning of November and are typically removed at the beginning of April – weather pending. Please do not throw the markers away. If you would like to remove them yourself earlier, please lay them next to the side of the garage for us to pick up when we come by. Keep in mind, if you remove the markers early and then it snows again, there is the risk your driveway may get missed/not serviced. You remove markers early at your own risk and we do not recommend it.
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry a $2,000,000 insurance policy, auto policies, and work comp and are in 100% compliance and good standing with all employment and tax authorities. We strongly recommend you only work with companies that are fully insured and in good standing with employment and tax authorities.
In order to provide our clients a fast and reliable snow removal service, we currently have our tractor routes open to very specific portions of Lincoln.
Will my driveway be clear by 7am
Although we would love to be able to guarantee a 7am arrival time, it would be deceptive advertising. We have no control over when the snow will start or end! Obviously, the later the snow starts, the later we start. We are prepared to dispatch crews between 6am - 12am midnight no matter the time during each snowstorm. If a storm is ending at 11pm, we will dispatch crews at 11pm and work until all routes are completed. If a storm is ending at 2am, we will wait to dispatch crews until 6am. It is safe to assume that your driveway will be cleared within 8 hours or less from the time the snow ended. If you are at the beginning of the route, it will be much sooner. Rest assured, if your driveway is not clear before you leave to work, it will certainly be cleared by the time you get home!
Is there a limit to how many times you will come?
Nope! We provide unlimited snow removal at 1” all season long no matter how much or how many times it snows for the same flat rate!

I have a paver/interlocking stone/stamped concrete driveway. Can you still service me?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide service to your driveway if it is made of pavers, interlocking stone, or stamped concrete. We do not want to risk scratching your concrete or peeling up the pavers. This is dangerous both to your property and to our equipment.
How much does it have to snow before you come?
We automatically clear your driveway after every 1” storm, no need to call. We typically wait until it is done snowing and then dispatch out our crews.
What about water valves on my driveway?
This is extremely uncommon in Lincoln. However, if there is a water valve in the driveway it is the responsibility of the homeowner to make sure the cap is not protruding and is flush with the concrete. You will need to contact the City or a plumber to have it lowered to the level of the driveway. If the cap is not flush with the concrete, it likely will get picked off by the snow blower and shot into the lawn. Please ensure this is taken care of prior to the first snow. Once the snow arrives and covers the surface, the issue is not apparent and can’t be seen. We do not want to subject our equipment to this, and the City may charge you to repair in the spring.
Your equipment looks big! Will it damage my driveway/lawn?
Believe it or not, your own car puts more pressure on the driveway than our tractors! The large surface area of the tractor tires evenly distributes the weight more than your car does. The driveway markers help us find your home in the middle of the night and then stay within the boundaries of the concrete and not go on the grass. Snow blowing with a tractor is one of the best methods in the industry at the moment for clearing snow from your driveway!
Surprisingly, no! Our tractors are actually quieter than a commercial leaf blower. Plus, we are in and out of your driveway in 2-3 minutes, minimizing any disturbance to you or your neighbors. You probably won’t even realize we were there!
How do you determine my driveway size and price?
We price our services based on the width of your driveway. Instead of measuring the exact size of your driveway, we simply base if off standard sizes. If your driveway is one car wide it is a single, two cars wide it is a double, etc. Driveway length is not usually taken into consideration unless it is abnormally long. Pricing starts as low as $598 for the unlimited snow removals at 1” for the entire winter season.
We have several payment options! You can pay in full upfront, or split your payment up into as many as 3 installments
What's Your Repair Policy?
Our drivers are required to report any damages caused to your property on their tablets and to the office at the time of the incident. This information is logged for repair in the spring unless it requires more urgency. Exclusions to this would include any and all items left in the immediate work area of our equipment (the driveway). Examples to this exclusion include: recycling bins, garbage cans, flower pots/planters, basketball nets, extension cords, children’s toys, and downspouts. Although our office or driver will usually report damage directly to you at the time of the incident (during daytime hours), we always encourage you to verify with the office the day after the snow storm if you have any concerns.
Do you have Customer Service during storms?
Absolutely. Our office is staffed Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm. During storms and overnight hours, we have our office staff and our 24/7 answering service available to take any requests. However, the best way to contact us is via email during a storm. This will help get the fastest response.
What if I move or cancel service midway through the season?
If you move mid-season, we can transfer the service agreement to the new owners of the home for the remainder of the season. If your new home is still in our service area, we can transfer your service to the new home. However, we cannot offer a refund if the new owners do not wish to use our service or if you move outside of our service area.
Here’s the deal: We don’t do contracts. We earn your business on every visit. We want you to be totally thrilled with our service. So absolutely delighted that you will recommend us to your friends and neighbors. Frankly, we want to take care of your lawn forever. You are the judge, if our work is not excellent we will re-do the item in question for FREE. If you are still not happy, you will not owe us a single penny for that service.
Crazy, right? We thought so. In fact, if we were not the company we claim to be, that guarantee would probably cost us a small fortune. So we’re proud of that.
