Hey guys, Ted of summit lawns here I want to talk to you about what you should be doing with your lawn mower and your grass this time of year. So a really common question that we get is what height should I be mowing my lawn at. Now that we're into November and into the fall months, this is the time of year to start dropping your mower deck down. Now we really stress strongly in the summer months, leave your grass a little bit longer. Three and a half inches is the perfect height here in Lincoln. However, as we get into the fall, about this time of year, you want to drop down to about three inches, you can go two and a half, two and a half kind of short even yet, three inches is perfect because it keeps your grass healthy and green, like this one right here. But it also is low enough to help pick the leaves up better and that's gonna be really easy for fall cleanup and leave removal which we'll talk about in a little bit. So most lawn mowers I'm going to show you on this one here. Most mowers, very lowest setting is going to be one and a half inches. So and they go up and half inch increments you have one and a half to two and a half, three, which is where we're at right now. Three and a half, four. So usually it's gonna be the fourth setting or so from the lowest. That's three and a half inches. Here's on a Honda. Most of your Toro push mowers are going to be the exact same. You want to be at three inches and that's the perfect height to be cutting your grass right now as we come to the fall to finish up the year and to help pick up the leaves.
